Shawn Cannady was born in Richmond California.
He started taking an interest in music at age 8.
He soon began performing in school
Talent shows as well as other functions.
He has Performed music from rock to jazz.
Shawn has been in various bands including,
Hip Hop Pottummus, the Messengers,
Higher Ground and the Christian group,
Inner seeds
Shawn's musical influences include Pink Floyd,
Jimmy Hendrix, Peter Frampton, Santana,
The Rolling Stones, George Benson,
Prince and Aerosmith.
He currently attends college part time studying
Auto Mechanics. He loves to fix cars for fun.
Favorite hobbies include: bowling, biking, video games, cooking,
drawing, traveling, dancing, and board games.
Shawn presently lives in Fremont California and
Is the lead and rhythm guitar player for
Bay Area Dance Band Groove Fusion.
He is the only member of Groove Fusion that
is single and he dates often. He also enjoys
spending time with friends, eating out
And loves children.
